ABOUT DR. BLISS
Dr. Bliss graduated from Park College with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Nutrition and a minor in Chemistry. In 1991, he received his Doctor of Chiropractic Degree (D.C.) from Cleveland Chiropractic College in Kansas City. He has completed studies from the National Chiropractic College in Chicago to become a specialist in sports injuries and is a Certified Chiropractic Sports Physician (CCSP). He is also certified in disability ratings and physical impairment. Dr. Bliss has attended numerous post-graduate seminars and is involved in extensive research on the effects and treatment of carpal tunnel syndrome. He is also certified by the American Red Cross to present lectures to companies involving the prevention of back and other occupational injuries. As a noted speaker in schools, businesses and community groups, Dr. Bliss is an advocate of good health care. Dr. Bliss works locally with several high schools as their team physician and has had the opportunity to treat various musical personalities, such as Robert Plant and Jimmy Page of Led Zeppelin, musicians of Metallica, professional baseball and hockey players and professional Broadway performers. Dr. Bliss is also a chiropractic consultant for the Men and Women's Pro-Beach Volleyball tour, Professional Water Ski tours, and other sporting events in the midwest. On a personal note, Dr. Bliss completed his pre-professional course work in chemistry at Emporia State University in Emporia, Kansas. Dr. Bliss was a starter on the varsity football team and enjoys snowboarding, wakeboarding, and competing in volleyball tournaments.
